Subject: Stu Linden Wine Experience – Taste of Atlas Peak
Hello Gordon,
I very much enjoyed meeting both of you and chatting with you at this fine, fine event. Delicious wines over all. You probably served the best Cab at the event. Just yummy! tied behind you were VinRoc and Sill Family.

"Gordon Hi. Lisa and I did enjoy our '06 Cab a week or so ago. We drank pretty much the whole bottle, but I did save a glass to see how it would be the next day. Thinking about how far that wine has developed is amazing. It has a pleasing phenolic profile that still is masking some of the brighter fruit components that are just under the tannins. While very good to drink right now, I imagine that your wine will age over a very long time. I think it will really show it's colors after another 2 - 3 years. You should be very happy with your effort. "

Hi Gordon,
I did drink it with a good friend of mine (and a good confit duck leg) who works in the wine industry (Bouchard & fils in Burgundy) and we both agree that is a very good wine, the oak is well controlled and it gives a lot of different nuances to that red fruited cab sauv. It's round and almost sweet, complex and long in mouth. Cheers! Simon Rodrigues Territory Sales Manager Infaco-USA, Livermore,CA Main Office: Cahuzac sur Ve're-France |
Greetings: My name is David Page and I'm a 30 year veteran of the FOH San Francisco restaurant business, and a Sommelier. Henry gave me a bottle of your '08 Cab last year, which I opened at a tasting of wine professionals, somms, and wine judges two weeks ago. We work for Barbara and John Drady (Sonoma Coast Vineyards) and owners of AffairsoftheVine.com The overall impression of the group was very favorable, with scores blind tasted between 90-93. Many good comments about structure, varietal expression, and flavor profile. Some thought it characteristic of Stags Leap AVA. I wanted to pass this information along to you and thank you for sharing your beautiful wine with us. If you would like to submit your wines for judging in the future I'll put you in touch with Barbara. I'd also like to purchase some of your wines for my cellar and perhaps for lists I consult for.
Thank you: David A Page, SF, CA Cheers! |
"My wife and I had several friends over to our house for wine tasting. We take pride in the wine we serve. The 2008 Vintage Premium iNapaWine stole the show! Everyone was talking about it. My wife and I agree with our friends, this great wine stands out from the rest."
